⚠️ Important Disclaimer

EasyServe is a document preparation tool — not a law firm, paralegal service, or source of legal advice. Information you provide is used solely to generate LTB forms on your behalf.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and professional details (e.g., LSUC number) provided during registration or profile setup.

Notice Data: Tenant names, rental addresses, rent amounts, and payment details entered when creating LTB forms. This information is stored to generate your documents and maintain your notice history.

Usage Data: Browser type, IP address, pages visited, and interaction patterns collected automatically to improve the Service.

Payment Data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: generate and store LTB notices; deliver notices via email when requested; provide delivery tracking and read receipts; manage your account and subscriptions; communicate service updates; and improve the platform.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: payment processors (Stripe) to handle transactions; email delivery services to send notices on your behalf; and as required by Canadian law or legal process.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure, Canadian-hosted infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

5. Data Retention

Account and notice data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus 7 years after deletion for legal compliance. You may request export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable Canadian privacy legislation (including PIPEDA), you have the right to: access your personal information; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw consent for non-essential data processing; and file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
